Mr Shamsul officiated at four matches in Germany.

He refereed the Sweden-Trinidad and Tobago match on 8 June, the Mexico-Angola game on June 16 and the Costa Rica versus Poland match on June 20.

I read that in today's Straits Times and I was highly amused by the coincidence. Firstly, this man refereed a match on 8 June, that's Azlan's birthday. After which he refereed another game on June 16 which is Emi's, Ja's and Maira's birthday. I read on and found out he refereed another game on 20 June, yours truly's birthday. I thought the coincidence will end there but no, I was wrong.

He was the fourth official in the Germany versus Sweden second-round game on June 24.

Isn't that chun yang's birthday?
